Education Scott Cowen, Chair To provide the best possible public, and private primary, secondary, and post secondary education systems to all our young citizens
Infrastructure Jimmy Reiss, Chair To provide our citizens a safe, secure, technologically smart and environmentally healthy community where appropriate infrastructure, including levees, are properly designed, installed and maintained; where its police and fire departments are headed by strong, qualified leadership and personnel are trained and adequately compensated
Economic Development Dan Packer, Chair To assure an open, inclusive and vibrant business community that will create livable wage and higher salaried jobs to our qualified citizens
Health / Social Services Kim Boyle, Chair To provide outstanding health care to all of our citizens and encourage the development of a major health research center for the South
Cultural Cesar Burgos, Chair To continue our unique culture of food, hospitality, art, music, history, and faith
City Planning Joe Canizaro, Chair To establish appropriate and reasonable zoning and regulations that encourage the best and most appropriate land use which maintains the historically important neighborhoods, districts and commercially unique areas, encourages walk ability and is interconnected by a good public transportation system
